Job Title: Lead Developer - Symfony Framework (PHP)

Job Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Developer with expertise in the Symfony framework to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications using Symfony, guiding the development team, and ensuring best coding practices. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a remote setting, values clean code, and has a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications using the Symfony framework (PHP).
Migrate from old version to the latest one
Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative setting.
Ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions are delivered.
Design database structures and optimize query performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement current features.




Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Lead Developer with a solid focus on Symfony framework (5+ years preferred).
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and modern deployment practices.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
Experience in agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
