Key Responsibilities
Procure processing-grade potatoes from open market and contract farming sources
Maintain strong qualified relationships with:
Potato traders
Cold storages / cold rooms
Aggregators and mandi networks
Manage potato sourcing across UP, Haryana, and Punjab
Ensure consistent quality, size, and dry matter suitable for French fries and other processing needs
Coordinate timely dispatch of potatoes to the factory
Possess basic understanding of potato raw material processing requirements including:
Dry matter
Sugar levels
Defects
Impact of storage on quality
Coordinate closely with Production and Quality teams
Required Skills & Knowledge
Solid understanding of potato market pricing and seasonal trends
Knowledge of potato storage, handling, and logistics
Ability to assess raw potato quality at the procurement stage
Solid negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
CTC (Cost to Company)
₹5.0 – ₹5.5 LPA
Compensation will be based on experience, market network strength, and technical fit.
