Principal UI Architect, AVP
We are looking for a React expert to provide senior technical authority for React-based development, providing deep expertise, independent decision making, and local leadership for advanced problem solving within our UI Framework team.
Our Platform Engineering organization is innovating and transforming our platform by moving away from monolithic software to utilizing next generation cloud-based technology that leverages Microsoft Azure, AKS, React, etc. The UI Framework team is an integral part of this strategic modernization.

Responsibilities:
Lead complex React-based design, development and implementation decisions.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create easy and sustainable software architectures and solutions for complex problems
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for escalated issues.
Review code and ensure adherence to architectural and coding standards.
Mentor engineers through technical leadership.
Drive continuous improvement in team development practices.




Ensure delivery of high-quality software via test automation; assisting with manual testing as required.
Engage in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Collaborate with global teams on platform initiatives.

Qualifications:
Recommended Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Recommended Experience:
12+ years of skilled software engineering experience.
Expert-level knowledge of React and contemporary JavaScript frameworks, including the eco-systems these operate in
Strong experience with architectural decision making.
Experience leveraging AI tools as part of routine development and work activities
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in financial services is a plus.
