Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
CVE Management & Fixing:
Identify, analyze and patch CVEs in the Linux kernel and Free Opensource Packages.
Proactively monitor for security advisories and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
Coordinate with the security team to prioritize vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Understand CVE Detection Report and Execute Maintenance
Linux Kernel Development & Maintenance:
Maintain and enhance kernel subsystems with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
Kernel Major / Minor Version Upgradation
Assist in kernel configuration, debugging, and tuning for production environments.
Ensure compatibility and stability across various Linux distributions.
Maintenance Activities:
Perform system updates, patch management, and ensure system compliance.
Collaborate with the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system operations.
Troubleshoot kernel-related issues and provide support to other technical teams.
Client-Facing Communication:
Act as the technical point of contact for clients, providing updates on CVE patching and maintenance efforts.
Deliver transparent and concise explanations of complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with clients to ensure tailored solutions that meet their security and system requirements.

Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Security, Development, and Operations, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation for CVE patches, kernel updates, and system changes.
Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams on CVE mitigation techniques and kernel best practices.
