Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Immigration Counselor to provide expert guidance and support to individuals and families navigating the complex process of immigration. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one counseling to clients on immigration options, eligibility, and procedures
Conduct intake interviews to assess client needs and goals
Prepare and submit immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation
Research and stay up-to-date on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
Develop and implement case plans to achieve client goals
Collaborate with other specialists, such as attorneys and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and case progress
Provide referrals to community resources and support services as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally sensitive support
Fluency in English, Hindi
