Job Description:

Job Summary
A Design Engineer is responsible for creating, developing, and improving product designs using engineering principles and design software. The role involves preparing technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA to create 2D and 3D models.
Review and modify designs based on project requirements and feedback.
Work closely with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
Conduct design calculations, simulations, and analysis.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Support prototype development, testing, and product improvement.




Coordinate with clients or internal teams to understand project requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Industrial Design or related field.
1–5 years of experience in design engineering (depending on role level).
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
Valuable knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
