Role Overview

Responsible for L2/L3 support, administration, and troubleshooting of enterprise network security infrastructure, with a solid focus on Cisco & Palo Alto technologies, ensuring high availability and security of client environments.

Key Responsibilities (Essentials)
Provide end-to-end support, troubleshooting, and administration of network security devices.
Hands-on experience with:
Cisco ASA 5500-X (with SFR modules)
Cisco Firepower Series (1000 / 2100 / 3100 / 4100)
FMC 1600 / FMCv
Palo Alto Firewalls & Panorama
Manage and support Cisco ISE (SNS 35XX series, version 3.0+).
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IPSec & SSL VPNs.
Understand and implement customer security policies on firewalls and security appliances.
Participate in P1/P2 incident bridge calls and drive issue resolution within SLA.
Independently handle remote troubleshooting and in office support when required.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and escalation management

Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of network security architecture & best practices.




Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Palo Alto).
Exposure to managed services / enterprise support environments preferred.
Ability to work in 24×7 support / critical incident scenarios.

Qualifications & Certifications
B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science / IT / ECE preferred) or equivalent.
Certifications such as:
CCNA / CCNP Security
PCNSE / Palo Alto Certifications
Any relevant network/security certifications (preferred)

Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Ensure high uptime and performance of network security infrastructure.
Deliver timely resolution of incidents (especially P1/P2).
Maintain accurate documentation, configurations, and reports.
Adhere to SLA compliance and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
