Powerplay (getpowerplay.in) is Slack for Construction Industry that helps construction project owners and contractors track on-site progress in real-time to finish projects on time and in the budget. We aim to bring the speed of software development to infrastructure development.
Founded by IIT Roorkee alumni and backed by industry experts and global investors such as Accel, Sequoia capital and India Quotient, we are on a mission to help the second largest industry in India-Construction make a transition from pen and paper to digital.

Responsibilities
Develop REST APIs for mobile and web app
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Design and implementation of high-availability applications
Implementation of security and data protection
Discover, plan, write, document and maintain current and existing integration and endpoints
Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
Requirement
Solid proficiency with JavaScript
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express.js
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Basic understanding of front-end technologies
