About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer with experience in building 3D Design Software, ideally in the interiors, architecture, or CAD domain. This is a foundational hire for the Reele team, someone who will work closely with the founders and product leadership to shape and build the first version of the product.

This role is ideal for someone who’s excited to take ownership, lead development from scratch, and grow into a tech leadership role as the product scales.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of Reele – a 3D interior design software from the ground up
Architect and implement core 3D modeling and visualization capabilities
Integrate parametric design, component libraries, and real-time rendering
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate interior workflows into intuitive software features
Set up foundational code structure, tools, and engineering best practices
Scale the product to support high performance across browsers and devices
Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with 3D engines, WebGL, CAD libraries, and UI/UX trends




Lay the groundwork for building and mentoring a high-performance engineering team

Job Requirements
3+ years of experience in building 3D applications or CAD tools
Robust proficiency in three.js, WebGL, or similar 3D libraries
Experience with interior design, architectural, or spatial design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, Blender, etc.)
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with React is a plus
Deep understanding of 3D modeling concepts – geometry, materials, lighting, rendering
Robust software design and debugging skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience building SaaS design tools or configurators
Familiarity with parametric design, drag-and-drop UI, or real-time collaboration
Exposure to UX principles for professional creative software
