Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Storage Engineer (SAN) – Level 3 with solid expertise in enterprise storage arrays, SAN fabric operations, cloud storage platforms (AWS & Azure), and Level 2 proficiency in Commvault Data Protection. The role involves supporting large-scale hybrid storage settings, ensuring performance, data protection, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Storage Management (On-Prem)
Lead administration of multi-vendor enterprise storage:
Hitachi VSP/HCP
NetApp
HPE Nimble/Primera/3PAR/MSA
Dell EMC
Synology NAS
LUN provisioning, RAID/pool configuration, replication, snapshots, and performance tuning.
Perform storage migrations, lifecycle upgrades, and expansion planning.

Cloud Storage Administration (AWS & Azure)
AWS Cloud Storage Skills
Manage and optimize AWS storage services:
EBS: Volume creation, performance tuning (GP3/IO2),



snapshots, encryption
S3: Bucket management, lifecycle rules, replication, versioning
EFS: Performance modes, throughput, mounting and integration
FSx (Windows, ONTAP): Backup, snapshots, performance troubleshooting
Monitor cost, utilization, and performance of AWS storage resources.
Support hybrid storage integration with on-prem SAN and backup infrastructure.

Azure Cloud Storage Skills
Administer Azure storage resources such as:
Azure Storage Accounts: Blobs, Files, Queues, Tables
Azure Files: SMB/NFS shares, snapshots, backup policies
Azure Managed Disks: Performance tuning, snapshots, encryption
Azure NetApp Files (ANF): Volumes, pools, snapshots, replication
Configure shared storage for Azure VMs and AKS workloads.
Manage cloud storage security (RBAC, keys, private endpoints).
Support storage monitoring and optimization through Azure Monitor.
