About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead and grow our ultrasonic screening and liquid processing business unit in the West Zone of India, as well as our branches in Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata, and Pune. This is a pivotal role that requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue recent business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
Build and maintain solid relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
Actively seek out current clients and expand the customer base.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales and service team.
Recruit and develop talent to strengthen the team's capabilities.
Set explicit performance goals and provide regular feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales, service, and after-sales support.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical) or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in selling capital machinery to the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
Strong understanding of ultrasonic screening and liquid processing technologies.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
