Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for aluminium profiles, sheet metal components, fabrication materials, and engineering consumables.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, fabrication services, tooling, and outsourced manufacturing.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual rate contracts with suppliers.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Vendor Development & Management
Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and current vendors.
Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
Develop alternate sourcing channels to reduce dependency and supply risks.
Collaborate with Quality and Production teams for supplier quality improvement initiatives.

Cost Optimization
Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternate material sourcing, and process improvements.
Analyze market trends, commodity pricing,



and industry benchmarks.
Prepare cost comparison statements and procurement MIS reports.

Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Design, Production, Planning, QA/QC, and Stores departments.
Understand engineering drawings, BOMs, fabrication requirements, and manufacturing processes.
Support new product development and project procurement activities.

Supply Chain & Compliance
Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and vendor records.

Required Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of:
Aluminium extrusion and fabrication
Sheet metal fabrication processes
Laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, machining
Raw material sourcing and vendor management
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specif
