ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Management: Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
Procurement: Coordinate the acquisition of current assets based on organizational needs.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal.
Compliance: Ensure all assets comply with organizational policies and vendor contracts.
Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize technology spending and eliminate waste.
Policy Development: Create and implement policies for asset management.
Data Management: Maintain databases and records of licenses, service agreements, and warranties.
Budget Planning: Ensure the IT department’s budget is adhered to, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-advantage analyses and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
Other duties as assigned.
