Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Plan, execute, and monitor sheet metal production activities.
Ensure proper use of welding processes (TIG/MIG) as per job requirements.
Perform in-process and final inspection of components.
Carry out checking, gauging, and measurement using precision tools.
Supervise grinding, buffing, and polishing operations.
Maintain quality standards and ensure defect-free production.
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and design teams.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Knowledge:
Solid knowledge of engineering drawing reading.
Hands-on experience in TIG & MIG welding.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
Familiarity with Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges, etc.
Understanding of surface finishing processes.
Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage shop floor manpower.

Preferred Requirements:
Experience in handling production line.




Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP reporting)

Candidate Profile:
Industry: Sheet Metal Fabrication/Furniture
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Experience: 2 - 4 years in sheet metal or fabrication industry.
Salary: 20K- 25K per month
Duty Hours : 8 - 10 Hours
