We are seeking a technically robust qualified to join the Strategic
Initiatives team as a Senior Analyst for Biomanufacturing and Bioeconomy
Systems. The role will focus on developing research strategies and
implementation of pathways related to industrial biotechnology, bio-based
manufacturing, and emerging bioeconomy systems. The candidate will work on
interdisciplinary projects that include life cycle analysis, systems modelling,
policy analysis, industrial ecosystem assessment, stakeholder engagement, and
strategic roadmap development to help India transition to a sustainable and
globally competitive biomanufacturing ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Conduct life cycle assessments and techno-economic assessments for
biomanufacturing technologies, including biologics, industrial biotechnology,
precision fermentation, biomaterials, and bio-based products
Support the development of analytical frameworks, technical reports, policy
briefs, and roadmaps
Assess manufacturing, feedstock, and scale-up requirements for emerging
biomanufacturing systems
Work with government,



industry, academia, startups, and international
organisations to collect data, conduct stakeholder consultations, and support
cooperative projects
Present research findings at conferences, workshops, technical forums, and
stakeholder consultations
Publish high-quality reports, journal papers, op-eds, and knowledge on
products related to biomanufacturing and sustainable industrial systems
Support interdisciplinary project coordination and institutional initiatives

Qualifications
Master’s degree in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, biochemical
engineering, industrial biotechnology, environmental engineering,
bioengineering, sustainability, life sciences, or other relevant
interdisciplinary disciplines.
Candidates with demonstrated research or industrial experience in
biomanufacturing, industrial biotechnology, fermentation systems, bioeconomy
systems, or sustainable manufacturin
