We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations within the Municipal Corporation. The ideal candidate will bring solid expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Taxation, Project Financing, and financial compliance. This role requires strategic financial planning, effective stakeholder coordination, and ensuring transparency in municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support in preparing annual budget for the Municipal Corporation
Develop strategy to improve efficiency of property tax collection
Support in executing green bonds and municipal bonds for the city
Assist in improving revenue collection system and provide ideas for revenue generation from various streams
Support in management of state and central grants
Support in preparation of utilization certificates for various government-funded schemes viz. SBM-U (2.0), 15th FC, Nirmal Gujarat, State Clean Air Program (SCAP), Urban Development Year 2025, etc.
Key Skills & Qualifications
MBA in Finance with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum 3 yrs in Finance Related Projects
Solid knowledge of AP/AR, taxation, project financing, LC/BG documentation.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, and MS Excel.
Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
Experience in public sector finance or infrastructure projects preferred.
