Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage key accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of accounting standards, solid analytical abilities, and a proven track record of leading financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with accounting regulations (GAAP/IFRS)
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Monitor general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
Coordinate with auditors and lead internal and external audit processes
Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
Support budgeting, forecasting,



and variance analysis
Supervise junior accountants and provide mentorship and training
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and business decision-making
Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, including bank and intercompany accounts

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally) and Excel
Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred:
Experience in [industry-specific knowledge if needed, e.g., manufacturing, SaaS, real estate]
Prior team leadership experience
