Description
Design and develop Industrial Product , including mechanism, current path, structure, and accessories.
Prepare drawings (2D/3D) of parts/assemblies & perform tolerance stack-up calculations.
Valuable understanding of electromechanical design parameters such as dimensioning, tolerance, and material properties.
Utilize knowledge of manufacturing technologies, materials, and surface treatments.
Analyze project specifications to assess complexity and risks, and mitigate risks through design, calculations, and simulations.
Conduct value engineering of existing designs while adhering to engineering principles and business standards.
Document technical data in accordance with engineering practice and procedures.
Coordinate product testing and certification according to standards and validation plans.
Prepare test documents and liaise with laboratories for testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and success of projects.
Responsibilities
Proficiency in Creo, Windchill, GD&T;, Simulation,
Tolerance stack-up, DFM, DFT, DFA, and DFMEA.
Familiarity with IEC standards and product certification processes.
Experience in designing and developing switchgear.
Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical simulation tools such as Ansys, J-MAG, Maxwell, and Adams.
Understanding of thermal optimization and electromechanical performance.
Knowledge of life cycle management and product troubleshooting.
Familiarity with thermoplastic, thermoset-plastic, ferrous, and non-ferrous materials
Understanding of Product life cycle
Preparing Design documents
Project Planning and Scheduling
Self-motivated team player & individual contributor
Positive oral & written communication skill and interpersonal skill.
Qualifications
Bachelor/Masters in EE, ME, EEE, EIE.
10 - 15 Years of Industrial Experience in mechanical component and product design development.
