The candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the finance and accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries/joint control entities. The role includes overseeing monthly closure processes, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, coordinating with auditors and stakeholders, assisting in financial reporting and MIS preparation, and ensuring alignment with SEBI and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the complete accounting function of the company and its subsidiaries/joint control entities
Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure timely and accurate payment of statutory dues including GST, TDS, and other compliances
Liaise with internal and external auditors for statutory, internal, tax, cost, VAT, and GST audits
Assist in preparation and analysis of Monthly MIS reports for management decision-making
Coordinate and ensure timely filing of statutory returns including GST, TDS, VAT, Excise, and related requirements
Collaborate with group companies on finance and accounts-related matters
Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with SEBI guidelines and regulatory frameworks
Maintain solid internal controls and drive process improvement initiatives
Support strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Required Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
8+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably within Energy or Infrastructure sectors
Robust knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and taxation laws
Experience handling audit processes and statutory financial reporting
Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Expertise in taxation and statutory compliances (GST, TDS, etc.)
Budgeting and financial analysis capabilities
