We are looking for a responsible and qualified Pharmacist with at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medicines, maintaining proper stock, supporting patients and healthcare specialists, and ensuring protected and accurate medication handling.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital procedures.
Check prescriptions carefully for correct medicine, dosage, and quantity.
Explain dosage and usage instructions to patients when required.
Maintain proper records of medicines issued and received.
Monitor medicine stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Check expiry dates and maintain proper storage conditions.
Handle controlled and high-alert medicines as per hospital guidelines.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, stores, and other departments when required.
Ensure proper billing and documentation of medicines.
Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the pharmacy.
Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and safety standards.
Report stock shortages, damaged medicines, or discrepancies to the concerned authority.
Support periodic stock verification and pharmacy audits.
Qualification
D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid Pharmacy Council registration.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital pharmacy.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays when required.
