We are looking for an experienced and agile Senior Student Counsellor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling walk-in inquiries, conducting telecalling activities, counseling prospective students, and driving admissions through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Handle walk-in students and parents by providing detailed information about courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
Conduct telecalling activities to follow up on leads and generate admissions.
Counsel prospective students and guide them in selecting suitable programs based on their career goals.
Maintain regular follow-ups with inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and other communication channels.
Convert inquiries into admissions by effectively addressing concerns and building trust.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM system.
Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets assigned by the management.
Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
Participate in promotional activities, seminars, education fairs, and admission campaigns when required.
Provide daily and weekly reports on counseling activities and admission conversions.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Student Counseling, Admissions, Telecalling, or Educational Sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counseling, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
Ability to handle walk-in inquiries and convert leads into admissions.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Experience in the education or training industry will be preferred.
