Roles & Responsibilities:
Help bedridden patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and brushing.
Sanitize patient rooms, beds, and common areas while ensuring equipment is properly arranged.
Safely segregate and dispose of biomedical and general waste according to hospital policies.
Change bedsheets, pillowcases, and handle the transportation of dirty linens.
Safely transport patients on stretchers or wheelchairs to different departments (e.g., X-ray, O.T., labs, or discharge).
Support nursing and medical staff during minor procedures by properly positioning patients.
Help in moving, and arranging heavy medical supplies and gas cylinders.
Provide urgent physical assistance during critical situations, code blues, or moving deceased patients to the morgue
Assist patients in and out of bed, into wheelchairs, or for prescribed walks.
