Key Responsibilities
Prepare competitive freight quotations for Air Import and Sea Import shipments.
Handle pricing for Freehand and Nomination shipments.
Obtain and negotiate freight rates with airlines, shipping lines, consolidators, overseas agents, and transport vendors.
Coordinate with sales, operations, and overseas partners for pricing requirements.
Maintain updated rate sheets and pricing databases.
Analyze market trends and competitor pricing.
Respond promptly to RFQs and customer inquiries.
Follow up on quotations and support the sales team in converting business.
Maintain robust relationships with carriers, overseas agents, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline.
1–5 years of experience in Air & Sea Import Pricing within the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry.
Sound knowledge of Freehand and Nomination shipments.
Positive understanding of Incoterms, freight costing, and international shipping processes.
Experience in negotiating freight rates with airlines, shipping lines, consolidators, transport vendors, and overseas agents.
Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
