Job Description – Junior Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary

Hindustan Gold Industries is looking for a motivated Junior Instrumentation Engineer to support the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with field instruments, PLC-based systems, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems.
Calibrate and troubleshoot field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
Support maintenance of PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial automation systems.
Carry out instrument loop checking, testing, and commissioning activities.
Inspect and maintain control valves, sensors, actuators, and transmitters.
Read and interpret P&IDs;, loop diagrams, and instrumentation drawings.
Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Production teams during maintenance activities.
Maintain calibration records, maintenance logs,



and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and calibration.
Basic understanding of PLC, HMI, VFD, and SCADA systems.
Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
