To operate and monitor robotic welding machines to ensure quality welding output, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate robotic welding machines as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
Load and unload components correctly into welding fixtures.
Monitor welding cycles and ensure proper welding quality.
Perform basic machine checks before starting the shift.
Identify welding defects and inform the supervisor immediately.
Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the welding work area.
Follow safety norms and wear required PPE at all times.
Assist in minor troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
Maintain daily production and inspection records.
Support preventive maintenance activities as instructed.
Quality & Safety
Ensure weld quality meets company and customer standards.
Follow safety guidelines related to welding, robots, and electrical equipment.
Report unsafe conditions or machine abnormalities promptly.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma (Mechanical, Welding, or relevant trade) – Preferred
Freshers or experienced candidates can apply
Experience
0–3 years experience in robotic welding or manual welding (MIG / Spot welding preferred)
Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of welding processes
Understanding of robotic welding operations (preferred)
Ability to follow instructions and SOPs
Attention to detail and quality focus
Willingness to work in shifts
