About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Officer (ASO) to lead and manage our sales operations in and around Pollachi. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team, and ensuring robust market coverage across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and supervise a team of 6 Sales Executives
Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve targets
Ensure effective distribution and availability of P&G; products in the market
Monitor team performance and provide guidance & motivation
Maintain strong relationships with retailers and key customers
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Ensure coverage across the following areas:
Pollachi
Kinathukadavu
Udumalpettai
Valparai
Requirements:
5 years experience in FMCG sales (preferably with distribution handling)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Valuable communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work in field sales and handle targets
Knowledge of the local market is an added advantage
