Pre-Operative Responsibilities
Prepare the operation theatre before surgery.
Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure all necessary tools, supplies, and medications are available.
Check functioning of equipment like monitors, anesthesia machines, and surgical lights.
Assist in positioning the patient on the operating table.
Intra-Operative Duties (During Surgery)
Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during procedures.
Pass instruments and materials to the surgical team.
Maintain a sterile setting throughout the procedure.
Handle surgical instruments carefully and efficiently.
Monitor equipment and report any issues immediately.
Post-Operative Responsibilities
Clean and sterilize instruments after surgery.
Dispose of biomedical waste according to safety protocols.
Prepare the OT for the next procedure.
Assist in transferring patients to recovery rooms.
Equipment & Inventory Management
Maintain and organize surgical instruments and equipment.
Track inventory of supplies and ensure timely restocking.
Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Safety & Compliance
Follow infection control protocols strictly.
Adhere to hospital safety standards and procedures.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay: From ₹10,066.07 per month
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
Operation Theatre Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
