Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Powder Coating Operator to handle surface preparation, powder coating, and curing of electrical panel enclosures and sheet-metal components while maintaining required quality and finish standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and clean sheet-metal surfaces before powder coating.
Remove oil, grease, dust, rust, welding marks, and other contaminants.
Perform sanding/grinding and proper masking where required.
Operate manual electrostatic powder coating spray guns.
Ensure proper coating thickness, uniform finish, and curing.
Identify and correct common powder coating defects.
Handle panel bodies, doors, gland plates, mounting plates, and other components carefully.
Follow production schedules, quality standards, 5S, and safety procedures.
Maintain production/rework records and coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and quality teams.





Required Skills
Practical experience in electrostatic powder coating.
Positive knowledge of surface preparation and curing/baking processes.
Ability to identify common coating defects.
Valuable visual inspection and finishing skills.
Basic understanding of production drawings/instructions.
Knowledge of 5S and industrial safety.

Qualification

10th / 12th / ITI or equivalent technical qualification.
ITI – Fitter, Painter, or Mechanical trades preferred.

Experience

2–7 years of experience in powder coating operations preferred. Experience in electrical panel manufacturing or sheet-metal fabrication will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

Hands-on and experienced Powder Coating Operator who can independently manage the process from surface preparation to powder application and curing, with robust attention to finish quality and minimum rework.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
