Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced GM – Quality & Operations to manage overall yarn dyeing operations, production, and quality functions. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall yarn dyeing production and quality operations.
Ensure production targets, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
Monitor shade matching, colour fastness, defects, rejection, and re-dyeing.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Lab, Planning, Stores, Maintenance, and ETP teams.
Monitor productivity, wastage, chemical/dye consumption, and machine efficiency.
Handle customer/buyer quality complaints and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with GOTS, GRS, OCS, OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, HIGG/FEM and customer requirements.
Lead customer, certification, and compliance audits.
Prepare and review production and quality MIS reports.
Drive process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Lead, train, and develop production and quality teams.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry or related field.
20–30 years of experience in yarn dyeing/textile processing.
Solid knowledge of yarn dyeing, colour matching, quality control, and production management.
Valuable leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Candidates with experience handling buyer requirements and textile compliance standards will be preferred.
Ideal candidates should have solid hands-on experience in yarn dyeing operations from reputed dyeing/processing units in and around Tirupur or SIPCOT, Perundurai.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
