Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and admissions. The candidate should have strong communication, counselling, and follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students and parents based on their academic and career goals.
Explain courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other channels.
Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
Build solid relationships with students and parents.
Handle difficult queries and provide suitable solutions.
Coordinate with the academic and admission teams.
Support and guide junior counsellors when required.
Prepare regular reports on counselling activities and conversions.
Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline.
2 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, or admissions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Robust convincing and negotiation skills.
Valuable command of English and Hindi.
Target-oriented and confident personality.
Basic knowledge of CRM/MS Office preferred.
