Job Summary
We are looking for a Steward who is passionate about hospitality and guest service. The ideal candidate should be confident, well-groomed, and capable of handling guests professionally while ensuring smooth floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests with warmth and professionalism.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
Ensure timely and efficient table service.
Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and service team.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when required.
Build rapport with guests and encourage repeat visits.
For Floor Captain candidates: supervise service staff, allocate sections, monitor service quality, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, and customer service throughout the shift.
Requirements
Steward: Minimum 1 year of restaurant service experience.
Good communication skills in Hindi and basic spoken English.
Positive attitude with excellent guest-handling skills.
Well-groomed, disciplined, and customer-focused.
Ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
Basic knowledge of POS systems (Petpooja experience is an added advantage).
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
