The Steward is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to the restaurant's service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a warm and courteous manner.
Present menus and explain food and beverage offerings.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining service standards.
Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and ready for guests.
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve basic concerns professionally.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area at all times.
Follow company SOPs, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Assist in opening and closing restaurant operations.
Promote menu items, daily specials, and upsell where appropriate.

Requirements
0–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café,



or hotel (Freshers with a Hotel Management background are welcome).
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Team player with a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications
Hotel Management or Hospitality qualification preferred.
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service and restaurant operations.
