Responsibilities
Support the University s equality and diversity commitment
Responsible for health, hygiene, and general welfare of hostel students
Attend to health, sickness, sanitation, and cleanliness matters per guidelines
Ensure hostel students follow hostel rules for guidance and decorum maintenance
Manage discipline in the hostel following University s Disciplinary Procedures and Codes of Conduct
Report serious disciplinary or alarming issues to Head of Hostel Administration Head of Student Affairs
Assist in Hostel Administration and the admission process of current students
Establish and maintain appropriate social contact with students
Provide relevant information about students when required
Offer appropriate first aid support as needed
Participate in crime prevention, health, and safety awareness initiatives
Respond to in office emergencies during out-of-hours
Ensure a bullying and ragging-free hostel workplace
Conduct surprise rounds and checks of hostel rooms
Produce written reports
