Position: MIG Welder
Department: Production / Fabrication
Location: Siruganur, Trichy, Tamilnadu
Reports To: Production Manager / Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding (Metal Inert Gas welding) on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metal components as per drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
Set up and operate MIG welding machines and related fabrication tools.
Inspect welded joints to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
Repair and rework defective welds when required.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet project deadlines
