A SCADA Developer designs, develops, configures, and maintains Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems used to monitor and control industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities
Develop SCADA applications and HMI screens.
Configure PLC–SCADA communication (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, etc.).
Develop alarms, trends, reports, and dashboards.
Configure historian and SQL database integration.
Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
Troubleshoot SCADA, PLC, and communication issues.
Prepare project documentation, backups, and user manuals.
Commission SCADA systems at customer sites.
Provide customer training and technical support.

Required Skills
SCADA software: AVEVA System Platform, Wonderware InTouch, Schneider EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert, Ignition, FactoryTalk View SE, WinCC, or Citect SCADA.
PLC programming (Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi).




Industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
SQL Database (MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server).
Networking fundamentals.
Basic scripting (VBScript, C#, or Python is an advantage).

Qualification
B.Tech/BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in SCADA development and industrial automation.
