Role & responsibilities
Resolve production issues quickly and engage additional resources when needed to restore service.
Prioritize issues effectively based on business impact and urgency.
Monitor trading platform components across all asset classes and contribute to improving the efficiency of monitoring tools.
Support and maintain both Production and UAT environments.
Communicate clearly and professionally with users onsite and remotely.
Document system components, processes, and future enhancements.
Work closely with Development teams to ensure smooth handover of current systems and releases to Support.
Provide clear updates on outages and incidents to the business.
Support regulatory and reporting requirements.
Identify operational risks and help close any gaps.
Ensure team members receive required training.





Qualifications
5+ years of application support experience on Linux servers
Good knowledge of FIX protocol
Network troubleshooting and protocol knowledge
Basic Python or any automation exposure (desirable)
Any experience capturing packets and any server performance tuning is useful but not mandatory.
Strong appetite for learning current technologies and tools.
Any knowledge of FX, US Treasuries, or Futures markets is useful.
Foundational trading concepts (bid/ask, spread, order flow, market data)
Robust customerservice mindset with excellent communication skills.
