Job Title: IBM Sterling Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sterling Engineer to strengthen and evolve our B2B integration platforms, with a focus on containerized deployments and cloud-native solutions. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable integration environments.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support B2B integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Secure File Gateway (SFG).
Implement and manage containerized Sterling environments.
Deploy and maintain solutions in cloud platforms, with preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Enhance automation through programming/scripting (e.g., Python).
Support infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation using Terraform and Helm Charts.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
Implement test automation to improve reliability and release quality.
Collaborate with architects, developers,



and operations teams to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration, deployment, and runtime issues.

Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or Secure File Gateway (SFG).
Solid background in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Cloud experience, ideally with GCP.
Programming/scripting proficiency (Python preferred).
Solid understanding of B2B integration concepts, file transfer protocols, and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Terraform and Helm Charts.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Exposure to test automation frameworks.
Background in highly regulated or enterprise-scale settings.

Nice to Have
Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
Knowledge of modernizing or migrating legacy Sterling environments to cloud-native platforms.
