Title: PostgreSQL & Amazon Engineer

Location: Remote

Mandatory Skills
Experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL for large-scale enterprise databases.
Experience with Amazon Redshift and/or Amazon RDS PostgreSQL.
Robust expertise in PostgreSQL query performance tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, statistics, partitioning, and database optimization.
Experience writing PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, and database scripts.
Experience with Database Administration activities in PostgreSQL and/or Redshift.
Solid understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and Star/Snowflake schema design.
Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills




Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and/or Web Intelligence (WebI).
Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including S3, Lambda, EMR, EC2, Kubernetes, Kinesis, etc.
Linux development experience.
Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
Python programming experience.
Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
