Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
We are seeking a Guidewire Jutro Developer to build up-to-date, responsive, and user-centric digital front-ends for our insurance platforms. You will bridge the gap between complex backend insurance logic and seamless, intuitive web applications using the Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform using React/Typescript.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design and build user interfaces, digital portals, and Micro-Frontends (MFEs) using React.js and the Guidewire Jutro framework.
Integrate Jutro front ends with Guidewire Cloud APIs (CloudAPI) and downstream microservices.
Partner with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and core platform engineers to translate designs and business requirements into robust code.
Diagnose and resolve UI state-management, rendering, and API concurrency issues.
Write clean, modular, and reusable components.
Implement unit and integration tests using JEST framework to ensure reliable deployments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must Have:
Solid professional experience in front-end development using Typescript, React.js, ES6+ JavaScript, JEST
Guidewire Jutro: Hands-on experience developing with the Guidewire Jutro framework
Good understanding of the Jutro Component Library
Experience in authentication/authorization
Proficiency working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous state handling.
Familiarity with Git, npm/yarn, webpack, and agile delivery tools.
Strong debugging skills with complex application states and responsive design.
Positive to Have:
Guidewire Jutro certification.
Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain.
Familiarity with Guidewire core systems (PolicyCenter or BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
Understanding of Micro-Frontend (MFE) architecture and Web Accessibility (WCAG) and SCSS.
