GST Return Filing:
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-7, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C) accurately and within prescribed timelines.
Reconciliation:
Perform detailed reconciliation of sales and purchase registers with government data such as GSTR-2B/IMS to ensure correct Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims and identify mismatches.
Documentation & Record Management:
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date GST-related records, including invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, ledgers, and supporting documents as per statutory requirements and follow-up with GST Returns non-filers .
Month-End Transfer Entries:
Pass necessary Input Tax and Output Tax adjustment entries in SAP/Tally and ensure proper accounting treatment in books.
Audit Support:
Prepare data and provide support for internal audits, statutory audits, and departmental GST assessments or inspections.
Tax Computation & Payment:




Calculate GST liabilities (CGST, SGST, IGST) and ensure timely payment of taxes, interest, and any other statutory dues.

Key Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Skilled qualifications such as CA, ICWA, or Semi-qualified professionals are an added advantage.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in GST compliance, taxation, accounting, and return filing.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting and ERP software such as Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Positive understanding of GST laws, rules, notifications, and practical compliance procedures.
