WATERSTOW INFRA SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a Junior QS / Billing Engineer to join our Lucknow office and support quantity surveying, project billing and commercial management activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineering fresher or junior professional who wants to build a career in Quantity Surveying, Billing and Construction Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
Study project BOQs, drawings and specifications.
Prepare quantity take-offs and quantity calculations.
Assist in project measurements and quantity verification.
Prepare and maintain BOQ and quantity tracking sheets.
Assist in preparation of RA bills and client billing documents.
Track executed quantity, billed quantity and balance quantity.
Assist in preparation and checking of subcontractor/vendor bills.
Support rate analysis and cost estimation.
Coordinate with site engineers to collect measurement and progress data.
Compare planned and executed quantities.
Maintain project-wise billing and quantity MIS.
Assist the QS/Contracts team in variations, extra items and commercial documentation.
Maintain accurate Excel records for projects.
Support management in project cost and billing analysis.
Preferred candidate profile
Required Skills
B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel.
Good numerical and analytical ability.
Basic understanding of BOQ and construction quantities.
Good documentation skills.
Willingness to learn Quantity Surveying and construction billing.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:
