Job Description Design - Valves
Prepare detailed design and manufacturing drawings for Gate/Globe/Check Valve
Ability to design the Valve, strength calculations, review customer specs etc
Develop 2D and 3D models using Solid Works and Creo
Ability to review customer specifications and produce associated design calculations as GA and Manufacturing drawings.
Perform engineering calculations for valve sizing, strength, and design validation.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA), assembly, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Ensure designs comply with ASME, ANSI, ISO, and other applicable standards
Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
Participate in current product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide technical support to internal departments and customers whenever required
Modify and update existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes
