Job Description For Test Automation Lead

Job Title: Test Automation Lead

Experience: 8 to 10 Years (5+ in Automation Testing)

Location: Pune

Shift Timing: General shift/UK Shift

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end test automation efforts using WebDriverIO and Selenium.
Drive automation strategy for web and mobile applications (Android and iOS).
Design, implement, and enhance robust automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze requirements and define test strategies.
Configure, maintain, and optimize test settings, ensuring seamless execution of test suites.
Develop, review, and enhance reusable test scripts and libraries.
Oversee regression suite execution, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure integration of automation processes with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Conduct defect triage, identify root causes, and drive resolutions with development teams.
Mentor and guide junior team members in automation best practices and framework usage.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning,



daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Prepare comprehensive test summary reports and regularly update project stakeholders on testing progress.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Expertise in WebDriverIO and Selenium frameworks.
Solid proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
Hands-on experience in mobile testing for both Android and iOS platforms.
Deep understanding of automation frameworks such as TestNG, MAVEN, BBD Cucumber, Mocha, Jasmine.
Proficiency in version control tools like GitHub or SourceTree.
Experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Solid knowledge of test environment setup and automation execution.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Additional Expectations
Experience in stakeholder management and client reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while adhering to deadlines.
Proven track record of mentoring teams and driving automation adoption.
