The Lead Production Team Leader (Lead PTL) is responsible for leading daily
manufacturing operations to ensure secure, productive, and high-quality production.
This role oversees frontline production teams, drives operational excellence,
supports continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with cross-functional
teams to meet business objectives. The Lead PTL is accountable for production
performance, people leadership, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance while
fostering a culture of Lean and continuous improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage frontline production teams to achieve daily production,
quality, safety, and delivery targets.




Foster a disciplined shop floor culture and maintain a safe, productive, and
collaborative work setting.
Build positive employee relations and engage team members through coaching,
mentoring, and performance management.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, and
other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve
operational performance.
Monitor and report key manufacturing metrics including productivity, labor
utilization, throughput, inventory accuracy, work order completion, quality,
and customer complaints.
Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, visual management,
waste elimination, standard work, and continuous improvement projects.
Lead quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with established
quality standards and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
