The Business Development Manager – CSD is responsible for driving strategic
market expansion, clinical adoption, and revenue growth for Next-Generation
Sequencing (NGS) & Clinical Microarray solutions in Oncology, Rare diseases &
Reproductive Health segments. Based in Delhi, this role plays a critical part in
expanding Thermo Fisher Scientific’s presence within the precision oncology &
reproductive health ecosystem working closely with molecular pathology
laboratories, cancer centers, hospitals, diagnostic networks, and reference
laboratories. The position collaborates cross-functionally with sales,
marketing, medical affairs, and global business teams to accelerate NGS
adoption, Microarray growth and support long-term growth objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Growth Strategy
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand adoption of NGS
led Genomics and Microarray solutions.
Identify and nurture recent business opportunities, strategic accounts, and
clinical partnerships in oncology, RH & Rare disease diagnostics.
Own growth initiatives aligned to regional and national oncology, rare
disease and reproductive health business objectives.
Drive expansion of oncology workflows across solid tumors, hematological
malignancies, and translational oncology applications.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Enablement
Partner with commercial leadership to define and implement go-to-market
strategies for genomics solutions across these segments.
Support current product introductions (NPIs), solution launches, and portfolio
expansion initiatives.
Contribute to development of value propositions, pricing inputs, and proposal
strategies for complex opportunities.
Enable sales and application teams with oncology-specific clinical messaging
and positioning.
