We are currently looking to hire a skilled FEA Engineer to join our Pune, India team.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform FEA-based analysis of PACCAR’s global products.
Collaborate with global and local teams to understand design intent and develop as well as validate structural FEA models to support recent engineering designs.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of products and assess requirements for vehicle systems, subsystems, and components in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Apply digital prototyping techniques for static and vibration-based structural analyses, including stress, deformation, thermal, fatigue, modal, harmonic, and random vibration studies.
Knowledge of crash simulation using LS-DYNA is considered an added advantage.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Perform FEA simulations on vehicle systems and subsystems using HyperWorks and Abaqus
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s / master’s in mechanical, Automotive Engineering
Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED:
4–7 years of relevant experience within a multinational engineering organization.
Solid foundation in engineering principles, particularly Strength of Materials and vibrations, with practical application in mechanical design.
Experience in analyzing metal castings, forgings, sheet metal, and welded components.
