Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines, and providing professional guidance to patients and healthcare staff regarding medications.

Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with doctor’s prescriptions.
Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
Provide patients with transparent instructions on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
Maintain proper records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and pharmacy inventory.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of medicines and medical supplies.
Ensure all medications are stored properly according to safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
Comply with all pharmacy regulations, legal requirements, and organizational policies.




Assist healthcare professionals with medication-related information when required.
Ensure expiry date monitoring and proper disposal of expired medications.

Qualifications:
B. Pharm or Diploma in Pharmacy.
Valid Pharmacist License/Registration as per regulatory authority.

Skills and Competencies:
Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and regulations.
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
Good communication and patient counseling skills.
Inventory management and record-keeping ability.
Ability to work responsibly and ethically in a healthcare workplace.

Working Conditions:

Requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards.
