Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency situations within the hospital premises.
Operate and maintain fire-fighting equipment, hydrants, extinguishers, and alarm systems.
Conduct routine inspection of fire safety installations and report deficiencies immediately.
Ensure emergency exits, staircases, and fire escape routes remain explicit and accessible.
Assist in fire drills, evacuation exercises, and disaster management activities.
Monitor compliance with hospital fire safety rules and statutory regulations.
Maintain records of inspections, drills, incidents, and equipment maintenance.
Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and local Fire Brigade during emergencies.
Provide basic fire safety guidance and awareness to hospital staff when required.
Perform any other fire safety duties assigned by the Fire Officer / Security & Safety Department.
