Catapharma is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot process instruments, control systems and automation equipment used in our chemical manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH and other process instruments.
Carry out calibration and maintain calibration records.
Troubleshoot transmitters, sensors, control valves, load cells, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems and interlocks.
Provide instrumentation support for reactors, distillation systems, storage tanks, pumps, boilers, chillers and other plant utilities.
Ensure proper functioning of alarms, trips, gas detectors and safety interlocks.
Maintain SOPs, instrument history records, breakdown reports and spare-part records.
Support plant projects, installation, loop checking and commissioning.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Maintenance, EHS and external vendors.
Follow GMP, safety and hazardous-area requirements.
Qualification and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
2–6 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, API or process-manufacturing plant preferred.
Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, control valves, transmitters, calibration and P&IDs.;
Positive troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
