Finishing Manager (Velvet – Chemical & Mechanical Finishing)

About the Role

The Finishing Manager will oversee all chemical and mechanical finishing operations for velvet fabrics, ensuring product quality, production efficiency, and timely development of customer samples.

Key Responsibilities
Manage chemical and mechanical finishing operations.
Handle brushing, shearing, steaming, stenter, calendaring, embossing, coating, and finishing processes.
Develop and approve finishing parameters.
Coordinate sample development based on design requirements.
Optimize finishing recipes.
Improve production efficiency.
Ensure shade consistency and product quality.
Coordinate with Quality, Design, and Production departments.
Resolve finishing defects.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Textile Engineering/Diploma.
8–12 years of finishing experience.
Robust knowledge of velvet finishing.
Experience with finishing machinery.
Team handling experience.

Pay: ₹83,333.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
